How long does it take to install a standby generator?
How often should the battery be replaced?
The battery should be replaced at least every 5 years. At the annual maintenance we will load test the battery and the results will be in your service report we will email you. The average battery lasts 5 years and this is why it should be replaced to ensure it will start in the event of a power outage.
Are there extended warranty options?
Yes. There are several options to extend the standard factory warranty. This can be discussed at your free at home consultation.
Do you handle warranty repairs directly?
Yes. All warranty work is no money out of your pocket when the work is scheduled during normal business hours. We bill Generac directly for parts & labor when covered under warranty.
What is the cost of a home standby generator?
There is a wide range of pricing depending on site conditions, size of generator, installation complexity, and gas run length. We will provide a detailed turnkey estimate so you will know exactly what to expect before work begins.
Do I need permits and inspections?
Yes. All generator installations require at least 2 permits and inspections. One for the electrical work and 2nd for the gas line installation. This is to ensure safety and compliance. We will handle all permits and scheduling the inspections.
